Celebrating Diwali.

We held our own Diwali party at Nursery to help us to celebrate. We made Diva Lamps, and danced some special Diwali dances.

 

A fantastic start to the year.

Sports relief.

A couple of parents have asked if I could share the dance we performed in our dance off assembly for Sports relief. So I hope you enjoy watching this short clip. The children certainly enjoyed the dancing.

 After reading 'The Little Red Hen' story, we decided to make some bread of our own.
First we found a recipe. We then had to follow the instructions to make our bread. We had to wash our hands and then measure out some of the ingredients. After this we had to take it in turns to mix and knead the dough. Our bread rolls looked and tasted delicious!

Celebrating Shrove Tuesday.

The children made their own pancakes and then enjoyed tasting them afterwards.
